University of Michigan – Flint Student Receives Striving for Greatness Accounting & Finance Scholarship

PM Business Advisors is happy to announce that they have awarded the 2018-2019 Striving for Greatness Accounting & Finance Scholarship to Milton Straham III from University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint). Milton is currently a graduate student in the MBA program at UM-Flint with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. Milton is President of his National Association of Black Accountants chapter, Beta Alpha Psi’s Vice President of Social Activities, and a member of the Supply Chain and Operations Management Association. He also was recieved an invitation to be a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Golden Key’s International Honor Society. Milton is CPA eligible and plans to take parts of his CPA Exam this coming fall. After graduation, he plans to work with a Big 4 firm in the service line of tax and advisory.

Michigan-Flint LogoNot only is Milton involved in campus life, but he is also very active in his community. He attends community action meetings and volunteers at local non-profits such as the food bank and soup kitchen. In fact, he has completed over 600 hours of community service to make his community a better place to live.
